Singapore, 2026 – Guardian Independent Certification Pte Ltd (GICG) is proud to announce that it has been awarded accreditation by the Singapore Accreditation Council (SAC) as a Management Systems Certification Body for Facility Management Systems ISO 41001:2018 and Data Protection Trustmark (DPTM) SS 714:2025.

The accreditation certificates were presented to Ms Tan Sim Bee, Head of Certification at GICG, by Mr Amos Leong, Chairman of the Singapore Accreditation Council, during the SAC Customer Day 2026.

The accreditation has been granted based on the requirements of ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015, ISO/IEC TS 17021-11, and SAC document CT 33 SAC Criteria, affirming GICG’s competence in delivering independent, impartial, and internationally recognized certification services.

The accreditation for ISO 41001:2018 Facility Management Systems enables GICG to certify organizations seeking to establish and maintain effective facility management practices across areas such as maintenance, cleaning, infrastructure, workplace services, and space utilization. Applicable to organizations of all sizes and industries, the standard provides a structured framework for improving operational efficiency and enhancing the value delivered through facility management.

In addition, GICG is now accredited to provide certification for Data Protection Trustmark (DPTM) SS 714:2025, Singapore’s voluntary enterprise-wide certification that enables organizations to demonstrate accountable data protection practices and strengthen stakeholder confidence in their data governance framework.

This achievement further strengthens GICG’s position as a trusted certification partner, helping organizations enhance operational performance, demonstrate regulatory compliance, and build confidence among customers, stakeholders, and regulators.
