CyberSafe Pte Ltd, a holistic Cybersecurity-As-A-Service and Cybersecurity Consultancy Services provider alongside Flexxon Pte Ltd, an industry leader in Developing and Supplying Cybersecurity related Storage Solutions are the first in the industry to be awarded with the Cyber Essentials mark certification by Guardian Independent Certification Group (GICG), a world leading Independent Conformity Assessment Body.

Developed by The Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA), the Cyber Essentials mark is a cybersecurity certification to recognise that enterprises have put in place good cyber hygiene practices to protect their operations and customers against common cyber-attacks. This achievement demonstrates CyberSafe’s and Flexxon’s commitment to cybersecurity to protect their businesses as well as their customers.

CyberSafe and Flexxon were thoroughly assessed by GICG’s assessors through a desktop review and verification of their completed self-assessments, documented policies and procedures, asset inventory lists, network and systems diagrams, training records and other related artefacts. Top management and key personnel were also interviewed to ensure good cyber practices are supported and maintained within the organization. At the end of the assessment GICG’s assessors concluded that the measures put in place were practical and efficient to be recommended for certification.

Mr. Dave Gurbani, CEO of CyberSafe and Ms. Camellia Chan, CEO of Flexxon said in a joint statement: “This certification serves as an external validation that we are committed to safeguarding our systems and operations from common cyber-attacks and that our customers can entrust their data with us.” Mr. Dave Gurbani went on further to say: “CyberSafe will also be the first to require all our vendors to be Cyber Essentials Certified in order to build a stronger resilience in our supply chain.”
