What isSustainability Practice?

With Sustainability Practice, your business grows and be profitable by creating and attracting business and revenue, while also looking after the environment and communities in which your business is operating in.

A sustainable business is one that generates profit while improving societal and environmental conditions. This includes what you do (your product or service) as well as how you do it (the way you operate).

Implementing sustainability practice in organisations assure an efficient operation that streamlines effort and conserves resources, enhances employee productivity, reduces cost and strengthens brand image.

A 1987 publication by the United Nations World Commission on Environment and Development defined sustainability as “development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”

Sustainability is a long-term investment that, when implemented properly, bolsters a company’s growth while also making it look good, which spells good news to an investor. Investors today might also use Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) metrics to analyse an organisation’s ethical impact and sustainability practices.
