This award recognises Guardian Independent Certification\u2019s (referred to as GICG) efforts to help enterprises demonstrate good cybersecurity practices which are essential to help organisations digitalise safely.<\/p>\n

Mr. Baljit Singh, Head of Certification, GICG Singapore received the award from Mr Tan Kiat How, Senior Minister of State for Communications and Information and Ministry of National Development at the SG Cyber Safe Partnership Appreciation & SG Cyber Safe for Enterprises Dialogue at Singapore International Cyber Week (SICW) on 20 October 2022.<\/p>\n

Cyber Essentials recognises enterprises that have put in place good cyber hygiene measures to protect their operations and customers against common cyber-attacks. It is developed based on a model of self-assessment. GICG will evaluate the self-assessment submissions through a desktop validation. \u201cIt is a great honour for GICG, a company with more than 29 years of experience in certification, to receive this award. This award recognizes the hard work and strong commitment from the various teams (including the auditors, compliance, operation, business development, and corporate division) who worked hard to reach out to enterprises, and to assess and certify them for the Cyber Essentials mark. It is more than a simple acknowledgement of those efforts: this is another step in our endeavour to help enterprises demonstrate commitment to good cyber practices, cyber hygiene and to help enterprises take greater ownership of cybersecurity.\u201d says Mr. Baljit Singh, Head of Certification, GICG Singapore.<\/p>\n
